How it works
- Choose your image. Pick a bold, simple PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. Clipart, silhouettes and logos work best.
- Upload it to the Workshop. Log in to your free Cookie Mercantile account and upload the image. The Workshop traces the outline automatically.
- Adjust the outline. Use the 2D editor to tailor difficult images: clean up the background, add padding to widen and soften the outline, and add raised text if you like.
- Pick a size. Choose the cutter size you want. Common sizes run from about 2 to 5 inches.
- Download the STL. Preview the 3D cutter, then download the STL file (or a full Cake Pop set as one ZIP).
- Print and bake. Slice the STL in your usual slicer, print it, and start cutting cookies.

What file do I get, and what do I print it on?
You get a standard binary STL file, which every slicer (Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer and others) opens. It prints on ordinary desktop FDM 3D printers.
What kinds of images work best?
Bold, simple shapes with a clear outline: silhouettes, clipart, logos and cookie-style illustrations. Thin lines and tiny details are hard to cut, so the Workshop offers background cleanup and padding to widen and smooth the outline before you download.
Can I make cake pop cutters?
Yes. Cake Pop mode builds a matching set: the cutter, a pusher, optional handle tabs, and a customizable tray. You can download the full set as one ZIP, which counts as a single download.
Can I fix a difficult or messy image?
Yes. The 2D editor lets you tailor tricky artwork to your needs before the cutter is generated, and padding widens and softens the outline so thin or rough areas become smooth and sturdy.
Is there a Chrome extension?

What is padding, and when should I use it?
Padding widens and softens the cutter outline. It is the quick fix for messy images: thin spikes, tiny gaps, rough or jagged edges and fussy details become a smooth, sturdy outline that cuts and prints well, and you can reset it to zero at any time.
Do I have to adjust settings to get a good cutter?
No. The Workshop starts from a proven default profile for the wall, handle and cutting edge, so most cutters come out right as soon as you pick a size. All the settings are there if you want to change them.
Can I add text to a cutter?
Yes. You can add raised text that follows the cutter wall, and set its height and depth.
Can I make many cutters at once?
Yes. Batch mode takes several images and several sizes in one go and returns the finished STL files in a single ZIP.
Is it free?
